                            La homocigosis del alelo A esta altamente asociado a MD
                            en 5 razas caninas (Pastor Ovejero Aleman, Boxer, Welsh
                            Corgi, Rhodesian ridgeback y Chesapeake Bay Retriver,
                            entre otros).
                            Por lo tanto el alelo A se reconoce como factor de riesgo
                            de la enfermedad.
